Dear PHW Collaborative Members, Health Leads, and Faith Leaders
I am writing to share the news with mixed feelings – mostly deep gratitude, excitement, and a bit of sadness – with you. April 4th will be my last day at the N.C. Council of Churches and the Partners in Health and Wholeness Program! Over the past nearly five years, I enjoyed working with all of you on your health ministries. Your work around faith and health constantly inspires me. During my time with PHW, the Overdose Crisis the Faith Community Responds program has hosted 30 clergy breakfasts and reached over 820 people. We have traveled across the state and talked about how to get faith communities involved in harm reduction policy, stigma, advocacy, and practices. I am so grateful to have learned from and worked with all of you, and I am incredibly proud of the work we have created and what we have accomplished together. If you have questions or want to stay involved with the work of the Council, please email phwinfo@nccouncilofchurches.org. If you are interested in the work of Faith In Harm Reduction, please check out https://faithinharmreduction.org/ or contact https://faithinharmreduction.org/prayer-submission.
