Confronting Christian Nationalism: Understanding the Threat and Knowing How to Respond

Tuesday, May 21, 7-8:15 p.m.
Online

Join us for an important and timely discussion addressing the double-edged threat of Christian Nationalism to our state and our faith. It is a threat to the founding principles of our democracy, and it is also a threat to the integrity of the Christian Gospel. Participants will learn how to recognize Christian nationalism, often disguised by a veneer of Christian teaching, and understand more fully how disinformation can lead to radicalization. We will offer recent examples of nationalist presence in our state and offer participants tools to resist the nationalist narrative when it shows up in our churches and communities. Join us for this critical conversation on safeguarding our democracy and our Christian heritage from this heresy.
